With the aid of NEMRA Event Control Software managers make more effective decisions for their organisation to achieve the statement above.

THE KEYS TO NEMRA

NEMRA is the tool used for predicting trends.
NEMRA helps the manager target specific areas of safety.
NEMRA is the tool used to measure results of interventions and actions.
NEMRA enables managers and supervisors to determine acceptable limits.
NEMRA enables identification of areas requiring corrective action.
NEMRA produces coloured graphical reports for easy understanding and distribution.
NEMRA enables the analysis of incidents including Near Miss and Lost Time Injury (LTI) incidents.

How Nemra Helps

NEMRA records all details associated with the incident as well as items to be actioned by staff and management from the incident.
NEMRA analysis separately or combines incident types, that is between;
  • Near Misses that could have resulted in injury,
  • Injuries with no time off work,
  • Injury with time off work,
  • Fatalities,
  • Injury not work related,
  • Sickness not work related.

The level of data manipulation and generation of useful information is extensive. For example some reports have easily shown such trends that would have been near impossible to identify manually ;
  • One organisation's success in recognising incident trends found that Lost Time Injuries increased some 24 Months after an employee commenced work. These Lost Time Injuries were reduced simply by informing staff of this trend. This highlighted their awareness of the problem and the incidents reduced.

  • Another example of trend analysis was the identification of an organisation's staff having more Near Miss Incidents after returning to work from a break within six hours of starting work. Theses incidents were reduced simply by informing staff of the trend. This reduced Lost time Injuries saving money.

REPORTING CAPABILITIES

NEMRA produces an extensive variety of reports. Tables are used to show the actual figures for closer comparison. Graphs, in the form of Pie and bar graphs, show the obvious trends at a glance.

Reports are available:
  • for analysis by specified month or any specified period between two dates.
  • which compare the current month with the previous month, or previous year's month, previous 12 months, etc.
  • for comparison of the different incident types such as Near Miss, Lost Time Injury, Fatal, etc.
NEMRA can also produce reports to show:
  • the most frequently occurring incidents
  • the comparison between different divisions or sections within the same region or between different regions of the organisation
  • the comparison of each division within different regions.
