Time Tracker
Time Tracker is a computer program designed to track time that staff spend on each job or task. The details collected by Time Tracker are directly recorded into the Job Costing module of an accounting system. The examples shown below are linked to Infusion.

Time Tracker allows for the collection and recording of the clock in/out details of staff as well as the allocation of time to the jobs being worked on.

  12. Provides for sub-jobs which are not available in Infusion - useful when you need to know how long certain parts of a job take.

In this example there are 4 staff members.
Active jobs that have been worked on by Alwyn M are displayed on the right hand side.

Below the Stop button the screen displays the clocked time for the selected staff member for that day.
Jobs are removed from the list by closing them in Infusion.

The list screen shown below allows for the selection of a Job that a staff member has not worked on previously

The Infusion Job screen shown below shows entries made by Time Tracker.

Conclusion

The Time Tracker software provides a system that is quick and simple for staff and management to use. It eliminates the manual processing of time cards through the use of the powerful reporting facilities already available in accounting systems.

Pre-requisite: Visual FoxPro OLE DB Provider
Note: if installing in Windows Vista there is a special procedure you need to follow to install this as Administrator. Refer to the Manual for this procedure.

Click-once installation
Note: the Click-once installer requires the Microsoft .NET Framework minimum version 2.0. It will update your .NET Framework version automatically to 3.5 SP1
If you don't already have .NET 3.5 SP1 installed, you will need to use Internet Explorer to launch the Click-once installer.
